#2 Round Kicks
Posted about my Taekwondo work out last night on Facebook.
Long Weekend
What a Long Weekend
118 days.
I thank God for seeing me through this and providing for me while I was out of work.
I have used this time to heal myself.
When I had a heart attack I didn't really take any time off. Although I did manage to seriously improve my diet and exercise program. Felt much more physically healthy. However I still needed to improve my mental health. For as long as I can remember (since 4 years old) I have had much anxiety and worry. Combine that with a Great Memory and it is a recipe for disaster. That stress takes its toll on the human body. I attribute much of my heart attack to my stress level. Although I'm not quite there, I have been really working and learning better coping mechanisms to deal with it.
Enjoy the Journey... Not the Destination.
And Thank you to all who have prayed for me during the past 14 months and especially the past 8. I have undergone alot of changes in my life (for the better of course) There were alot of bumps in the road but those bumps have made me stronger.

Amarantine
It opens your heart,
everything is new.
And you know time will always find a way
to let your heart believe it's true.
You know love is everything you say;
a whisper, a word,
promises you give.
You feel it in the heartbeat of the day.
You know this is the way love is.
You know when love's
shining in your eyes
it may be the stars
fallen from above.
And you know love
is with you when you rise,
for night and day belong to love.

Going Green
Our Martial Arts Adventure.
It continues, we have now reached our Green Belts. In keeping with the tradition of this blog, I am posting a picture of us with our instructor after we tested for our Green Belts.
I started last July, we had a somewhat slow start because it was fall baseball season and we missed some classes from that and a few other reasons. So our first graduation was less than 2 weeks from getting out of the hospital from an MI (look it up if you aren't a medico type).
So now every 2 months we obtain a new belt level, learn more and become more martial artists.
My son has even competed in 2 tournaments and earned 1st place in weapons and 2nd place in sparring.
I currently cannot spar until I get off of some medications I take relative to my MI.
However this path we are on has been good for both of us.
